Green River Single Barrel Launch Event

Event Information

Join us for an unforgettable evening welcoming Green River as they launch their new product! They will be introducing the Bern’s Green River Single Barrel. You will be exposed to 5 expressions (Wheated BBN, BBN, Full Proof BBN, The Single Barrel, and Rye) from their distillery and tasting them with flavor pairings that excite the senses. Cheese and charcuterie will also be available at the start of the class.
Green River Whiskies are distilled, aged, and bottled on site; the same hallowed grounds we distilled on from 1885-1918. It is also one of the largest independent bourbon distilleries in the U.S.

About Aaron:
Aaron Harris, Green River Head Distiller
Aaron Harris wasn’t born into a bourbon family and didn’t set out with aspirations of a career in distillation. But when his personal life led him to Bardstown, the bourbon business pulled him in and he quickly made a name for himself. 
He parlayed his career in project management into distillery management, beginning at Barton 1792. He went on to assist Luxco with the build of their distillation system, develop distillation processes and procedures for Lux Row Distillery. Following that, he moved north to Ohio where he served as Head Distiller and Director of Operations for Watershed Distillery, developing several new brands and garnering a number of industry awards across multiple categories. 
Today, he is back in Kentucky as Head Distiller and Distillery Operations Manager for Green River Distilling Co., in Owensboro, KY.  At Green River, he leads distillation and warehousing, while advocating for his people, enhancing processes, and putting quality first. “Fine-tuning how a specific distillery functions and working to improve its efficiency with productivity and teamwork, makes this a dream job for me.”

About Caryn:
Caryn Wells, Green River Distilling Co. National Brand Ambassador
After retiring from careers in teaching and firefighting, Caryn Wells moved to Kentucky and quickly realized that retirement was not for her. Beginning as a tour guide, Caryn quickly became the distillery liaison for special tours and guests. Her ability to engage, educate and inspire bourbon lovers of all levels made her a recognized and requested presenter. Today, Caryn Wells uses her skillset to introduce Green River Whiskey to both aficionados and bourbon novices alike.
