Clos du Val, Epicurean Hotel, and Bern’s Steak House wine and culinary teams present a dynamic two-part experience that blends hands-on discovery with relaxed outdoor hospitality. The day begins in Epicurean Theatre with an interactive blending seminar led by winemaker Carmel Greenberg. Guests will step into the role of winemaker, exploring the individual components that shape Stag’s Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon and gaining insight into how balance, structure, and site expression come together in the final blend. It is an engaging, behind-the-scenes look at the artistry and decision-making that define one of Napa Valley’s most respected estates.
Following the seminar, the experience transitions to the terrace for a festive picnic lunch. Set against an open-air backdrop, guests will enjoy wines by Clos du Val alongside a family-style feast prepared by Bern’s Steak House, Haven, and the Epicurean kitchen. This afternoon is an opportunity to savor exceptional wine, abundant seasonal dishes, and relaxed conversation. This event offers a rare chance to learn directly from the winemaker and then toast the results in true Winefest fashion.
